To & From the Editor
Hello Editor,
I am a professional photographer and I know that I have a skill that I can better utilize here in Sharm. I am new here, so I do not know many people, which is something that is drastically affecting my professional capabilities as a photographer. I have the photos that I know people would either want to buy, and I also have the great skill of capturing moments, so people can utilize my skills at any events of any sort. Do you have any ideas on how I can get about to make this dream of mine turn into a reality
Thanks,
A New Sharmer
Dear New Sharmer
Hello new sharmer, and welcome to the city of peace, as they call it. To turn your dream into a reality in my opinion should not be that difficult for you, because you have reached the first step, which is identifying your talent and what you are good at. Now – what you need to do from here is put together an action plan of how you are going to get this done. Ask yourself questions like, where should I market my self, who is my target audience, what do I need in order to able to sell. To me, the answers seems obvious, but in this instance my opinion doesn’t matter – it becomes about what you can do, and no one else. A lot of the time I find myself suggesting brilliant ideas, and a lot of the time they remain just an idea. So please don’t fall into the trap that I fall into and make sure that you pursue this dream. You are in the right place for photography; you have amazing nature, colours and people, so don’t waste it. Start making friends and promoting yourself, because in Sharm word of mouth is the best form of marketing – after Sinai Weekly of course :-p
Good luck,
The Editor

Homeopathy In Sharm
When you visit the doctor, he will ask you what is wrong. "My foot hurts," you might say, and the doctor will lift the foot and look at it from all angles.
He has seen this before. Within 15 minutes, he will learn all of the details he needs to make a diagnosis. He will write on a pad, hand you a slip of paper, and you will hobble out the door. This is how medicine is done, right?
Why is it then, that for the same complaint, a homeopath will require that you sit in her office for at least an hour? Why will she ask you about your childhood, your dreams, your preferences for food, and so on?
What are these tiny white pills she has recommended you, and why do they have a name that sounds so strange?

Do You Believe In The Evil Eye?
Hello Muriel, Do you believe in the evil eye? Thanks, Mona
Dear Mona,
I don’t think it is about belief; it is more about respect and acceptance for other people’s beliefs. It is not about my opinion either as opinions become diluted with age.
The ‘Evil Eye’ is believed by many cultures to be able to cause bad luck or injury on the person to whom it is directed.
The concept and significance of it varies widely between cultures, but for me the psychodynamics are of ‘envy.’
It has been mentioned several times in the Bible and is also mentioned in the Koran.
