The Mexican Bar & Restaurant

Located at the Tropitel Naama Bay Hotel, The Mexican Bar & Restaurant is truly one of a kind with its unique setting and location where you can sit and enjoy the view of Naama, the nearby waterfall adding the perfect effect to the perfect atmosphere whilst sitting in the outside terrace.   The restaurant opens everyday from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am whereas the bar opens from 6:00 pm to the early hours of the morning.

Start the evening off with music played by the talented guitarist playing live from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm when a live DJ then takes over. However, Saturday nights are karaoke nights from 9:30 pm to 12:00 am and Thursday nights are Latino nights.  It is open to residents as well as tourists where residents receive discounts.

“I find that the majority of customers are British tourists.” – Revealed Mohamed Kamel, General Manager of the Mexican Bar & Restaurant.
The décor is most unusual with it western movie-like interior makes you feel like you’re in a cowboy movie right down to the tiniest details with the barn like doors and lanterns and wooden dance floor.  The barrel-stools also make a nice touch to complete the effect as does the Mexican Tequila bar. There is also a sports corner where you can catch all the big international matches. But if you’re in the mood for something a bit more challenging, there is a billiard table outside. In addition, the outside terrace is an ideal setting for a romantic dinner with its candle lit tables and relaxing music.

All the dishes sounded and looked amazing; the presentation was extremely appealing as was the delicious smell coming from the main kitchen which is situated outside.  We would recommend the Fajita Nachos, the Chicken Enchilada and then finish it off nicely with a large slice of Cheese cake.

“The most demand is for the Tacos, fajitas and enchiladas.” – Stated Mahmoud Helmy, the Head Chef.

Prices are pretty reasonable starting at 22 L.E for soup, 45 L.E for main dishes and 12 L.E for desserts. Service is excellent and all staff is extremely efficient and courteous… and what’s more alcohol is served here and they sure do one hell of a margarita…

Credit cards are accepted and take away is also an option… what more could you ask for? So, when you are in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further than the Mexican Bar & Restaurant…

Homeopathy In Sharm

When you visit the doctor, he will ask you what is wrong. "My foot hurts," you might say, and the doctor will lift the foot and look at it from all angles.
He has seen this before. Within 15 minutes, he will learn all of the details he needs to make a diagnosis. He will write on a pad, hand you a slip of paper, and you will hobble out the door. This is how medicine is done, right?
Why is it then, that for the same complaint, a homeopath will require that you sit in her office for at least an hour? Why will she ask you about your childhood, your dreams, your preferences for food, and so on?
What are these tiny white pills she has recommended you, and why do they have a name that sounds so strange?

Real Estate In Sharm

Buoyed by a rapidly expanding tourist industry, Sharm El Sheikh is today one of the most popular destinations for people looking to purchase a property in Egypt.

Do You Believe In The Evil Eye?

Hello Muriel,

Do you believe in the evil eye?

 Thanks,
Mona

Dear Mona,
I don’t think it is about belief; it is more about respect and acceptance for other people’s beliefs. It is not about my opinion either as opinions become diluted with age.
The ‘Evil Eye’ is believed by many cultures to be able to cause bad luck or injury on the person to whom it is directed.
The concept and significance of it varies widely between cultures, but for me the psychodynamics are of ‘envy.’
It has been mentioned several times in the Bible and is also mentioned in the Koran.
