Is Sharm Cleaner?
God has honoured and blessed us with this great land that we should cherish and look after it rather than pollute and destroy this great gift; nothing can beat the pure beauty of nature; which in Sharm has no limits, having flourished so much in the last period with all the greenery and foliage that has sprung up all over the place. Just to breath in the fresh clean sea air; nothing can be healthier that that! However, cleanliness in Sharm presents a sort of dilemma, as it is not only about picking up the rubbish in the streets (even though the CLEAN SHARM group is doing an amazing job!) but about the rest of the rubble and waste that fill our roads on a day-to-day basis.
Look around at all the construction waste of bricks, stones and other supplies that are dumped in the roads all over the place. But without a doubt Sharm is much cleaner than it used to be.
Take for instance, the new metal rubbish bins for organic waste, now who would have thought that you would find that sort of thing in Sharm…. Sharm has progressed so much in the past years and many people have even started separating their rubbish just like abroad.
“I have noticed a big difference in Sharm,” – stated Marie, a local resident. “People are more aware now of the importance of looking after the environment.” – She continued.
“All in all Sharm is a much cleaner place to live in now than it used to be.” – Said Hannah, a mother of two.
Another source of pollution in Sharm is the exhaust of the cars and buses, which only increases with time…maybe it would be a bad idea to start investing in bicycles which are much healthier in the long run.
“I don’t generally agree that Sharm is cleaner now,” – revealed Ibrahim, a old time Sharmer. “Before there were less people so there was less pollution; everything was a lot more natural.” – He added.
But what can we do to help keep Sharm clean? Well we can all start with ourselves and our children. If each and everyone did something about the situation, soon Sharm will be the cleanest place in Egypt if not the Middle East.
So the question is: is Sharm cleaner?

Do Women Really Believe the Earth is Flat? If they Venture Forth Will they Fall off the Edge?
I do not walk in front of my man to test the ground for landmines.
(E.Moon)
The ‘F’ word has no place in my vocabulary.
Instead I have a belief in ‘EOG’
Feminism is an outdated adjective.
EOG sounds more like a substance to save the planet doesn’t it? However it is my own personal belief in ‘Equality of Genders.’ There now I have said it.
Feminism has been around since the 18th century. In 1792 May Wollstonecraft published her Vindication on the Rights of Woman, an important work advocating the rights of women.
Mary’s attitude stems from being born the daughter of a brutish, tyrannical father who bullied his wife into an exhausted state of servitude.
My answer to the male gender that retains the belief they can chain a woman’s mind and body is simply, “get a grip.” No one can own or chain a mind, you cannot steal another human being’s thoughts and you cannot strangle a soul.

An Expert's Guide To Bargain Shopping In Cairo
By Soraya Morayef
Anyone who claims that they can’t find bargain shopping in Cairo is delusional. First of all, we Egyptians love a good bargain; we may not have created the concept of sales and discounts, but we very well could have. Just take a look at any discount store around the world (Primark, Dollar Store, Forever 21), and you may find several of us arguing loudly over the Sale of the Day rack.
