Dear Mona,
I don’t think it is about belief; it is more about respect and acceptance for other people’s beliefs. It is not about my opinion either as opinions become diluted with age.
The ‘Evil Eye’ is believed by many cultures to be able to cause bad luck or injury on the person to whom it is directed.
The concept and significance of it varies widely between cultures, but for me the psychodynamics are of ‘envy.’
It has been mentioned several times in the Bible and is also mentioned in the Koran.

Initially so many thoughts and words came to my mind in response to your question. However one word seemed to be the most pertinent, ‘Tolerance.’
A couple of the other’s were ‘love,’ and ‘respect.’
Both love and respect cannot exist without tolerance, whereas tolerance can exist without either of them.

I don't know from where I can start I am an Egyptian lady living in sharm for 2  and half years. I am 23, and recently i am not feeling well here. I feel that Sharm is full of russians and every time i look around me i find them with open clothes, and egyptian men around them holding their hands and maybe more! When I apply to any good position that suits my qualifications, the answer is, sorry we need a russian girl...i’m not saying they are all bad, some of them are my best friends, but some have to respect our traditions.

I am sat here at my computer, pondering what I can write about, considering it is the, what I like to call - the red season. This is the time of year, where every Made in China product, starts to turn red. Red flowers, red teddies, red rabbits, red ribbons, red roses, red chocolates, red cheeks, red lace lingerie, and so on and so forth. So I have decided that this article is dedicated to St. Valentine’s, but in a different way. It’s not about how to celebrate a day with sappy couchy, mouchy, love stuff. It’s not about how to influence the mind of consumers by making them feel that Feb. 14th is a day where one is obliged to show their partner how much they are loved. Well, what if on that exact day, one doesn’t feel like love.

Sounds like you have already reached the end of your tolerance level.

Once you start feeling like a door mat, frustrated, nervous and as if no one is listening to you, it is probably because they are not listening to you.

According to a recent statement by a respected authority on Global Warming, the best way people can reduce their impact on the environment is to stop eating meat.  Lord Stern of Brentford, one of the world’s leading authorities on climate change says people should give up meat to stop global warming.  Lord Stern predicted that once people were fully educated on the ramifications of eating meat that in the future we may live in a society where meat eaters are shunned with the same ferocity as drunk drivers.  There are a variety of ways in which meat contributes to climate change and according to Lord Stern, the United Nation’s summit in Copenhagen addressed these issues.

During the last month, I was bombarded with Avatar stories. At the beginning I had no clue everyone was on about, so I decided to do a little bit of research. A) Sounds to me you are a little confused about the word ‘PLAN.’
Plan is usually defined as something you want to achieve.
Imagine you have a piece of furniture with 6 drawers one above the other. Write down what it is you want to achieve and the time span you require and put it in the top drawer.
Write down how you are going to achieve it, presumably it is something rational (in other words you do not have the desire to become an Astronaut but you have a fear of heights)! Put what you have written in the bottom drawer.

DIRTY NEWS - ILLEGAL DUMP IN THE NATIONAL PARK!
An illegal dump site was discovered in the boundaries of the St. Catherine National Park, in an exceptional beautiful enclosure close to the Dahab road.
What makes that even worse: These tons of garbage come exclusively from the airport! The Government set up strict environmental laws, which forbid illegal dumping, and extra laws to protect our National Park. And "governmental waste" is dumped illegaly? That cannot be true..... But unfortunately it is, as these pictures proof.
The whole ‘raison d'être’ of the airport is the tourism, and tourists come because of our precious and unique environment. Spoiling it means destroying the source of income of nearly everybody in South Sinai.

First impressions: people usually rend to look at a person and evaluate them form the first impression whether due to how they are dressed, what car they are driving or where they went to school. Life is so much more than that…

My old time favourite, the Slinky; I could spend hours and hours just sitting on the steps playing with my coloured slinky.
A Slinky is a helix-shaped toy that can travel down stairs end-over-end as it stretches and re-forms itself with the aid of gravity and its own momentum.

Remember the chemistry chart. For me, it was always one of the yuk things that I had to deal with at school. Funny thing is, now that I re-read what it is all about, it’s actually fascinating! Remember back to when we were small and light enough to go bouncing about on a good old Pogo Stick? Lovely… For those of you that don’t know, a pogo stick is a device consisting of a pole with a handle at one end, footpads on the other and a spring which supports the stick and user when on the ground. Located in the Old Market, ‘Fares’ seafood restaurant is definitely one of the best around. I don’t think there is a person in Sharm who hasn’t heard of ‘Fares’. Even though it is quite small in size the layout is used to the best possible advantage. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the staff is all courteous and efficient. Remember back to when we were kids and we were fist learning to count? Well, what is it you remember most about that time? The colourful abacus, of course!  The abacus is an early version of a calculator invented by the Chinese around 2nd Century BC. Also, known as the counting frame, it is made of coloured beads inserted in a rod.

On the 7th April, John Kean launched his new book ‘SS Thistlegorm” that tells the true story of the Red Sea’s greatest ship wreck; the Thistlegorm that lies in Sharm. The book was first published in 2003 followed by the revised new edition in 2009 and finally, tells the true story of what really happened. The SS Thistlegorm was a British armed Merchant Navy ship built in 1940 by Joseph Thompson & Son in Sunderland, England. She was sunk on 6 October 1941 near Ras Muhammad in the Red Sea and is now a well known dive site that has attracted nearly half a million visitors from all over the world for the past fifteen years who are all drawn to its mysterious charm and historical relevance.

Open from 4pm – 12am for dinner, Charleston will soon be serving breakfast and lunch in the very near future. The first thing that will take your breath away upon entering the restaurant is the extremely romantic setting and atmosphere, starting from the subtle lighting right down to the candles on the tables, not to mention the polite waiters who personally greet you at the door.

Every now and then when you’re out and about you come across a glitch, the kind that makes conflicts between nations seem like a minor stitch. They did it again; dazzled everyone by their amazingly high standards, but this time not just with their tempting bakery products or the delicious cuisine at the restaurant but the spectacular club above… Spending time in the corner is usually known as a punishment but definitely not in this case, as on 29th January, the corner hosted a whale of a party with many exclusive guests.
